Dil Pickles doesn’t make sense…

So Dil couldn’t talk. Reasoning? He was a newborn baby. Ok. Makes sense right? But Tommy was 1 and he could still talk. So it’s like, why not have Dil talk too? Because I read that Dil ruined Rugrats because kids couldn’t connect with him because he couldn’t talk. So I’m confused as to why they didn’t let him talk. Because it wouldn’t make sense a newborn baby could talk? You got a 1-year old, twin 2-year-olds and a 3-year old running around talking to each other smart enough to escape the “traps” their parents put them in, but you can’t have a newborn baby talk too?

Sorry. Rant over.
